PENSION DOLINKA

The village Liptovská Teplička, an oasis of calm, is situated in the north hillside of the hill Kralova Hola. Pension Dolinka is owned by an Agricultural share company Liptovská Teplička which is very proud of it. The pension is situated next to four ski slopes, which are available during the whole winter season because of very good snow conditions. Nature provides many possibilities for mountain tourism in spring, summer and also in autumn. You can go on walking or biking tours on mountain ranges of Low Tatras. You can pick herbs from highland meadows or you can pick mushrooms, forest raspberries, bilberries or red bilberries.

Since the village of Liptovská Teplička is situated on the border of three regions: Liptov, Spiš and Pohronie, there are many possibilities for tourism such as to make trips or to go walking tours to High and Low Tatras, to bathe in the water dam Liptovská Mara or Čierny Váh, or to go swimming to the thermal baths in Liptovský Ján and Vrbov. The visitors fond of sightseeing can visit historic sights of the Spiš, Liptov and Hron regions. They can visit cities such as Poprad, Kežmarok, Spišská Nová Ves, Levoča, Liptovský Mikuláš, etc. They can also visit Stará Ľubovňa or Červený Kláštor in the northern part of Slovakia near the Polish border and go hiking in the Pieniny National Park of go rafting down the river Dunajec.

Pension Dolinka where I stayed on numerous occasions offers seven two or bed apartments that include TV, fridge, shower bath, and toilet. Restaurant on the main floor is excellent. They can arrange horseback riding, carriage or sleigh rides, and sightseeing tours by bus to the surrounding areas, visit to the shepherds house, tasting fresh sheep’s or smoked cheese, drinking žincica (drink made of sheep's milk) and even roasting of home bacon over fire under the stars.

Nature and fresh air help to improve health condition and that will help also those who suffer from respiratory sickness.

If you ever dreamt to be in a place that feels beautiful and wanted to find out how would you feel in absolute silence, where you can hear the wind, look up the stars and in the morning being awaken by the bells of the passing cows and singing birds, this place is it, as the pension is at the end of the village next to the grasslands and ski slopes.
